An Unforeseen Journey: From Personal Projects to Aim High's Album Artwork

Today, I'm thrilled to take you on a journey, a beautiful intersection of personal nostalgia and fresh musical talent that has culminated in an exciting collaboration with the up-and-coming pop punk influenced band, Aim High.

The story begins with a deeply personal photography project of mine, aimed at capturing my childhood memories and the unique essence of my hometown. This endeavor involved many hours spent with my faithful Leica M6, and the vibrant Lomography 800 film, with a special focus on the vibrant scenes of our local state fair - an event that had become synonymous with my childhood.

In an unexpected twist, these images resonated with the members of Aim High, a band I hadn't had the pleasure of knowing until they reached out to me. Their appreciation for my work led me to dive into their discography and I was immediately hooked by their energetic fusion of rock, alternative, and their distinctive pop-punk influence.

Their music struck a chord with me. Not only were their melodies infectious, but their lyrics and themes felt incredibly in sync with the nostalgic and authentic sentiments I had sought to encapsulate within my own work.
